1937
Business is thriving again. New customers and increased production
require an extension to be built for the workshop area. A new separate
300 square meter house is built to serve this purpose. Total production
is soon moved to the new building while an ever-growing family occupies
the space in the old house.
1943
Company Founder, Edmund Oswald Muller dies at the age of 66. His son
Paul Edmund Mueller takes over company leadership. Together with his wife
Luise they continue the family tradition and business. 1944 Due
to pressure from the government production is forced to turn to
containers and boxes for ammunition and weapons for the war effort.
1945/46 After the second world war, production returned on a limited
basis and a small number of products such as tobacco containers, kitchen
cutting boards and mats were offered for sale. Toy furniture began to
come back into production.
1956
After 30 years, the company attends the Leipzig fair for the last time.
1959 The range of products was extended by two pyramids. 1960
Due to the centralized structure of material organization in the GDR it
becomes more and more difficult to purchase the required basic
materials. 1962 The Government categorizes toy furniture
production as part of the toy industry. Subsequently, the margin for
selling products decreases and production is no longer profitable.
1963 New products are added to the line including; angel and
miner figures and Christmas tree decorations. These products are now
exported and become very profitable for the country.
1973
Paul Edmund Mueller passes the reigns to son Gunter, who now takes over
the company with his wife Regina as the third generation in the
business.
1985 Multilevel Pyramids enter the lineup of products called "Krönchenpyramide"
(crown pyramid). 1986 Due to constraints of East German salary
rules, the number of staff must be reduced to three individuals.
Nevertheless, the product range is expanded even more. "Krönchenpyramide"
with two and four levels are now built. Also at this time products for
model railroad sets on a scale of 1:22,5 (LGB standard) are added due to
increased interest in the hobby.
1989
With the German reunification the production stops abruptly because of
the fact that the distributors of the government no longer exist and new
direct connections to customers have to be established.
1990
Wonderful new product ideas are now coming into production. These
included, arches, music boxes, choir singers and archways being supplied
directly to customers. A new little shop is furnished and a new truck is
purchased to attend markets in the north of Germany.
1992
The first level of the building is rebuilt and the shop extended (60 m²)
so that the entire range of products can now be offered to an increasing
number of tourists visiting the area. 1993 After 37 years and
extensive negotiations with the management of the toy fair of Nuernberg
and the CADEAUX fair of Leipzig the company is attending international
fairs again. 1994 Ringo Mueller, son of Regina and Gunter, enters
the company as a shareholder and the fourth generation to take part in
the family business. 1995 The constantly increasing number of
staff and a higher production volume require the building of a
fabrication hall with more than 700 m². With optimal conditions for an
efficient production, the inauguration of the new building is right in
time for the christmas business.
1996
Ringo Muellers work submitted for the master craftsman's diploma was one
of the first big inside lighted archways, is entering the production in
a yearly limited number. The increasing interest of foreign customers is
being served at international fairs in Tokyo and Toronto. The second

200 companies are presented. 1998 Plans to extend and to
rationalize the production, storage and painting facilities were

for building a new production facility as well as a shaving silo.
